"Do something!" —Ohioans chant drowning out governor at vigil, August 4, 2019
After the mass shootings in El Paso, Texas (morning of August 3) and Dayton, Ohio (night of August 3), contributing to a way to make Senators act to "reduce the epidemic of gun violence in America"—and to make those who seem to be in the thrall of the NRA accountable—seems a no-brainer.
Maybe my contribution to MoveOn.org simply makes me feel better, as if I've taken action. But I hope my contribution to billboards highlighting certain Senators' role in the gun violence epidemic and letting constituents know those Senators are blocking commonsense reforms is a start and goes beyond doing nothing.
