61. In line for the throne?

The mystery is solved. Neither deer nor chipmunks ate the parsley on the porch. The varmints are caterpillars. Up close, the chomping caterpillars almost look like furry mammals, with panda-like faces instead of insects. I believe these critters are on their way to becoming Monarchs.
