More Happy Hundredth Birthday to the National Park System

The Mississippi National River and Recreation Area is the only National Park to flow through a state capitol (i.e. St. Paul, Minneapolis). Pat and I were happy to take a gorgeous boat ride on the Mississippi (on a cheesy boat smelling like some sort of antiseptic, but who wanted to stay inside anyway?). We were also happy to see that The Minneapolis Institute of Art has placed picture frames around the Twin Cities in conjunction with the 100th Anniversary of The National Park System and an exhibit of Paul Allen's collection of nature art.
