Branding Aloft

Target seen from a plane leaving the Minneapolis airport.

Nuts to you. Snacks—not meals. The medium for the Hilton Garden Inn is a package-o-peanuts.

Soft drinks brought to you by Delta and Coca Cola.

Great great shot of the shadow through the glass.

And hey, if the food is sponsored (and free!), I'll take it. Coca-Cola knows how I feel about airlines charging for food, and is trying to help. Funny how it makes it seem like the brand is on your side against the airline. Ah, brand building.

I'm intrigued by your comment "Coca- Cola knows how I feel about airlines charging for food, and it strying to help."

What do you mean? Did you e-mail or write or rant? How is Coca-Cola trying to help?

Interesting!

I foresee "This in-flight meal has been sponsored by Coca-Cola" . . . or Target etc.

No...just me trying to be brand snarky. One brand (Continental) taketh away, another brand giveth (Coca-Cola). And it wouldn't even be surprising if they were

both owned by the same conglomerate. Coca-Cola is a lifestyle brand, so it must always try to be on "my side" of things, nu?
