Hexing the hex

Derek Larson, a Seattle artist working in a variety of media (including video), had an interesting piece up at Louis V E.S.P. in Brooklyn, that subverted a Pennsylvania Dutch Hex Sign. I've been working on expanding my semiotics lecture, and this piece just has iconography in spades. A lot of his work seems to be about subverting signs and messages, so this fits right in.
